1. Scope and provider
These terms cover the RoostDingers game client and related project services operated by the provider in the legal notice. The game is intended for users aged 16 or older. Minors require their legal representative's permission where legally necessary, particularly for wallet transactions. Using a wallet does not establish legal capacity.
2. Current release
This release is a free practice demo with testnet preparations. Mainnet purchases and real-money paid battles are not offered in this release. Features marked Testnet use test assets and test ETH; test balances, rewards and NFTs have no promised monetary value. Onchain test features are available only when a verified testnet deployment is enabled. Practice results do not unlock ranked careers or paid entitlements.
Local practice works without a wallet. Optional NFT play requires compatible wallet software, the correct network and verified ownership. Each transaction is subject to the information shown before signing. We do not hold your wallet keys or act as a custodian, exchange or investment adviser.
3. Battles and progression
Crews contain three slots. Repeated use of a Dinger creates separate combat slots; a distinct Dinger receives at most one career result per eligible battle. NFT careers represent team results, follow the token on transfer and differ from wallet prestige. Practice, pre-reveal training, known self-battles and timed-out unranked results do not count as ranked career results. Cosmetic milestones provide no combat bonuses or payment entitlement.
Recorded battles use the accepted loadout and recorded result. Replays illustrate that result; changing replay speed cannot change the outcome. Testnet randomness labels identify the configured source. Contract behavior, deployment addresses and transaction receipts govern blockchain execution; errors in a website preview do not override mandatory legal rights.
4. Fees and refunds
Any enabled testnet mint, battle or naming operation shows its test-ETH amount and network separately before signing. Network gas is additional. Testnet payment is not a purchase with real ETH. An oracle-timeout refund provided by a deployed game contract is separate from statutory consumer rights; see withdrawal and refunds. There are no cash, token or tradable winner prizes and no wager pot.
A future paid mainnet offer requires its own complete pre-contract information, price and tax disclosures, withdrawal process and order confirmation before activation. These demo terms do not waive those requirements.
5. Fair use and public names
Use only wallets and NFTs you are entitled to control. Do not exploit security defects, manipulate attestations or results, impersonate others, submit unlawful content, or use names that infringe rights, expose personal data, incite hatred or harass. Wallet and contract rate limits can restrict eligible ranked play. Attempts to circumvent limits may be excluded from project-operated interfaces subject to applicable law; we cannot rewrite public NFT career counters.
6. Availability and changes
The test version can contain bugs, missing media and outages; practice data can be lost when browser storage is cleared. Maintenance, network failures or security pauses may interrupt new actions. Public chain access through a compatible independent client may remain possible depending on contract state. We may improve or discontinue demo features; any paid contractual obligations, statutory conformity rights and applicable notice requirements remain unaffected. No permanent availability, future token value, resale market or future mainnet feature is promised.
7. Intellectual property
The game, music, interface and artwork are protected by their applicable rights. Personal, lawful use of the game is permitted; redistribution or commercial exploitation requires appropriate permission. NFT ownership alone does not transfer copyright. Collection-specific licenses and NFT information apply to collection artwork.
8. Liability and consumer protection
We remain liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, mandatory product liability and expressly assumed guarantees. For slight negligence in an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical loss. Any further limitation applies only insofar as legally permitted. Mandatory consumer rights, including rights concerning digital products, are unaffected; the testnet and risk notices do not exclude them.
German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of the law applicable in their country of habitual residence. Statutory consumer jurisdiction remains unchanged. For disputes, contact the provider; the consumer arbitration statement is in the legal notice.
